¹ And king Astyages was put to his fathers, and Cyrus of Persia took his realm. [And king Astyages is put to his fathers, and Cyrus of Persia received the kingdom of him.]

² Forsooth Daniel ate with the king, and was honoured above all the friends of him. [Forsooth Daniel was meat-frère of the king, and honoured above all the friends of him.]
